Progress For Preservationists

Congratulations to the residents of the Lake Idea area (my former neighborhood). They have taken huge preservation steps which will benefit all in the long run. Those who don't believe in historic preservation usually have a hard time seeing that; but once they see how it translates into dollars and cents in the real estate market, they often change their tune! Welcome

Welcome to my blog on beautiful Delray Beach, Florida...my hometown. Although I live away from Delray now, it is always in my heart and on my mind....and my family spends quite a lot of time there on vacation! It saddens me so to return after being gone for only a little while, to see how much been torn down, and what has been built to replace it.

Delray Beach is significant in the historic fabric of Florida, and it can't afford to lose any more of that history!
